Welcome to our creative space for young artists! At Laetitia’s Art Studio, we believe that art is a wonderful way for children to explore their imagination, build confidence, and have fun with colour, shape and texture.
Our children’s classes are relaxed, playful and designed to nurture creativity — whether your child is just discovering crayons for the first time or already loves painting and drawing. Each session offers a supportive environment where kids can experiment with different mediums like pencils, pastels, paints and mixed media, while learning basic artistic techniques in a hands-on way. Classes are guided step by step with encouragement at every turn, helping each child feel proud of what they create.
These classes are about joyful expression, curiosity and discovering the magic of making art — not about perfection. Under gentle guidance, children develop focus, hand-eye coordination and creative thinking, all while having fun with new artistic challenges.
Whether your child loves messy, colourful explorations or calm, careful drawing, our art sessions provide a safe and inspiring space for every young imagination to flourish.
Where the studio is located:
The studio is currently located at our home in Pinelands, at 19 Rheezicht Road. This is directly across from Pinehurst Primary School.
What to bring and wear:
Comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on are a must.
A healthy snack and something to drink.
What to expect during your first lesson?
All new students are required to start with the shapes exercise. This helps me get a feel for where they are in their art journey. It also acts as a nice icebreaker and gets us to know know each other better.
The required materials are supplied. The student then also receives their own set of paint brushes which can be stored at the studio.
Classes:
Students sign up for a specific class. If they cannot make it, they can attend another class as a make-up if it is agreed on beforehand and there is available space.
